Top 10 Appetite for China Recipe Pictures

April 24, 2008 - 10:08am

I just got tagged by The Sugar Bar to post my top 10 food photos. To narrow down my choices, I chose to put up only photos that accompany recipes...maybe someday in the future I'll do Top 10 Restaurants in Beijing, Top 10 Teas, or Top 10 Sugary Things I Bought On a Whim. :)

This food photo madness started from At Anna's Kitchen. Since I'm supposed to tag 5 other bloggers and notify them via comments on their blogs, I'll also list them here.

1. Kian from Red Cook
2. Michele from Fine Furious Life
3. Jennie from My Cake Wardrobe
4. Kalyn from Kalyn's Kitchen
5. Jaden from Steamy Kitchen

The following may not be the best recipe photos I've taken, but they are the dishes/desserts/drinks I return to again and again because I can't get enough. In short, my favorites. So in no particular order...

Sichuan Cucumber Salad

Chinese Tea Eggs (Cha Ye Dan)

Mapo Tofu (Mapo Doufu)

Red Lentil and Tofu Curry

Seaweed and Egg Drop Soup

Dan Dan Noodles (Dan Dan Mian) - Sichuan Spicy Noodles

Apple Soju Cocktail

Vegetarian Congee

Homemade Almond Milk with Bananas and Honey

Coconut Hot Chocolate

Love the Vegetarian Congee

Thanks for tagging me. I am honored. But first I vote the Vegetarian Congee picture as your best. I love it!

cheers for joining in

thanks for taking part in the taggin craze. love ALL the pics i could cry. the egg drop soup brings the sweetest memories, the dan dan mian is exactly what I'm craving right now but the ma po dofu really gets me. ;) x

So exciting to be tagged

I tried, I really did, but it would have meant choosing one out of every three photos I've ever posted on my blog. Which I didn't think quite qualified as "curating".
